FAQ'S

DAMAGED ITEMS:
Report any visible damage to driver at time of delivery, especially any holes or crushing of the package. If damage isn't detected until the package is opened, it must be reported to the carrier as soon as possible. They may require you to save the package and contents for their inspection. FREE SHIPPING:
Due to our overwhelming response, we are extending our free shipping for the month of December which includes all web orders over $150 in the continental US.  Free shipping is not included on freight shipments, only UPS ground shipments.  Any questions regarding free shipping, please call us at 1-800-331-7101.

OUR GUARANTEE:
Bartlett Manufacturing Company guarantees its own tools and parts of tools to be free of defects in workmanship, materials and temper. If returned to us with the carrying charges prepaid and found to be defective, Bartlett will replace the item(s) free of charge.

RETURNS:
Non-defective new and unused items, in new condition, may be returned to us within 60 days of the shipping date with our authorization. Credit for the returned merchandise will be issued less a 20% restocking charge.

SHIPPING COST:
Shipping and handling cost will be included in the total cost of the order. The shipping cost is determined by several factors, including the dimensions, weight and destination zip code of the order. We will not know the actual cost until the order has been packed. If you need an exact shipping cost before that, contact us and we will set a shipping and handling charge for your order based on our best estimate. The minimum shipping and handling charge is $6.50.

SHIPPING INFORMATION:
Our standard method of shipment is UPS Ground shipped from Marlette, Michigan USA. If you need your order more quickly, we can also ship it by UPS 2nd Day Air or UPS Next Day Air. If package dimensions exceed the limits that UPS can carry, the order will be shipped by truck freight. For example, poles, pole saws, or pole pruners that exceed 8' in length must be shipped by truck freight. For your benefit, we seek the most economical and reliable means available unless you specify otherwise.

SHORTAGES:
If an item seems to be missing and the package has not been damaged or tampered with, carefully inspect all packing materials to be sure the item has not been overlooked. Some products, such as pole saws for example, are shipped disassembled with the blade carefully wrapped for safety. If you still determine that an item is missing and can see on the packing list that it has not been backordered, contact us immediately at our toll-free number: 800-331-7101.

TERMS OF PAYMENT:
  • Prepaid
Prices are shown in US dollars. VISA, Mastercard, Discover, American Express are welcome. If you wish to prepay by sending us a check or money order, call us at our toll-free number, 800-331-7101 so that we can give you a total price for your order. Prices shown in our Web Catalog include the special discount for prepayment.
  • Established Open Accounts
Terms are NET 30, 1% 15 days. Accounts paid later than 30 days form invoice date may be subject to 1 1/2% finance charges on the past due balance. Accounts more than 30 days past due may revert to Prepaid Only status. Pricing of items will be according to the terms we already have with you and may be different than prices shown in our Web Catalog. Please call us anytime if you have questions.
  • Sales Tax
Michigan sales tax is 6.0%. Michigan sales tax will be charged for all orders shipped to Michigan addresses unless items are for resale or customer has a sales tax exemption. Items shipped outside of Michigan will not be charged sales tax. For international sales, however, duty or taxes on merchandise received may be required by the country in which it is received. Any such duties or taxes are the customer's responsibility in all cases.
