Flexible and lightweight low stretch kernmantel rope, for tree care

The FLOW 11.6 mm low stretch kernmantel rope is designed for tree care. The small diameter ensures very good performance in terms of flexibility and weight. It has low stretch when loaded, increasing efficiency when moving through the tree. The EverFlex technology guarantees great flexibility and handling over time. It comes with a splice at one end for optimal rope glide through devices like a friction saver or pulley, and through tree branches. The small size of the splice allows it to pass through the friction chain of the ZIGZAG and ZIGZAG PLUS mechanical Prusiks. Rope available in two colors

Petzl Flow 11.6 mm rope just what I needed

PETZL FLOW ROPE11.6MM

This is a great climbing rope for the zig zag and the zig zag plus. The small size of the splice allows it to pass through the friction chain of the ZIGZAG and ZIGZAG PLUS and any mechanical device you want to use with it. I use the rope for DRT and it is rock solid I am a large climber @ 220 LBS and 6 foot so it is a little bit bouncy in SRT configuration but not to bad to use. The petzl flow rope is so light and so strong verry flexible and holds knots verry well. This is a great rope to have in your arsenal of ropes

Best climbing rope yet

Where to begin, i climb 5 days a week averaging 3 trees a day, having a rope that is this light and workable if thats a word is amazing. I use the 148ft variant in green. Its pretty visible and runs like butter through my petzl zigzag. I love petzl and im looking forward to trying out the orange variant. I accidentally cut my rope about a foot off the eyelid. Its a small cut with my handsaw, the rope's integrity is completely there, its just starting to frail a little bit. An excuse to try out the orange one. A downside might be how thin it is. I climb drt and its sometimes hard on the hands pulling such a thin rope, cant really get a grip. I eventually got used to it. A plus would be to have an eye on both ends, since its the only rope with eyes thin enough to run through the petzl zigzag.
