The REDLINK PLUS Intelligence system optimizes performance across the battery range and provides overload protection for both tool and battery. For best performance on high-demand tools like the circular saw and SAWZALL, the included 5.0Ah XC packs or higher-capacity M18 batteries are recommended.

What does FUEL mean on Milwaukee tools?
M18 FUEL designates Milwaukee’s premium cordless tool platform, featuring three proprietary technologies working together: POWERSTATE Brushless Motor (more power, longer motor life vs. brushed motors), REDLINK PLUS Intelligence (advanced electronics for optimized performance and overload protection), and REDLITHIUM Battery Technology (more work per charge, longer pack life). FUEL tools consistently deliver corded-tool-level performance in a cordless package.

What is the Auto-Stop feature on the hammer drill?
The 2904-20 hammer drill’s Auto-Stop feature detects when the drill bit binds in the workpiece and stops the tool automatically to prevent over-rotation — a common cause of wrist injury and tool damage. A dedicated indicator light on the foot of the drill illuminates when an Auto-Stop event has occurred, so the user knows exactly why the tool stopped and can clear the bind before restarting.

Can this kit be used for arborist and tree care work?
Yes — the 3697-25 is well-suited for arborist jobsite tasks including drilling into wood for rigging anchor hardware, driving fasteners, reciprocating saw cuts for limb removal or rigging anchor prep, and circular saw cuts. The LED work light is a practical addition for low-light work environments. The M18 cordless system eliminates the need for generator or shore power at remote sites.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0276/2057/3268/files/Myproject_50_ecd42216-a90c-42cd-9ba6-4fdf74a7dc0d.png?v=1691422047
