The Ultra D locksafe ANSI is similar in size to the Ultra O but with even greater strength due to the back configuration. The pronounced D-shape forces the loading along the major axis of the carabiner to maximize strength. Perfect for use at the end of lanyards.

My favorite yet, except...

Its by far my favorite carabiner to use that I've ever had as far as ease of manipulation with gloves. My only complaint is that its a little fat & doesn't like going through a rook eye or a ZigZag. Understandably different companies. But this one is a winner for sure. Great to use on a lanyard or any hitch system.
