There’s nothing more important than protecting your head! There are going to be plenty of limbs to hit your head on and more, so a proper arborist helmet with a secure fit is crucial. At Bartlett Arborist Supply, we keep our climbing helmets affordable so everyone can have access to safety. Protect your wig with an awesome lid!

We carry the top brands in tree climbing helmets and PPE gear, including KASK, Petzl, Pfanner Protos, CT Arbor, and Klein. Most arborist helmets come “one-size-fits-all” thanks to their adjustable liners and chin straps.

We know from personal experience that climbing can get HOT, especially on those warm summer days, so we suggest a nice vented helmet like the KASK Superplasma. This particular KASK arborist helmet features 10 air intakes for efficient cooling and ventilation. Another vented helmet we highly recommend is the Petzl Strato Vent. This is one of the most popular Petzl arborist helmets because of its lightweight design and all-day comfort.

Although, when working around energized conductors it is critical to use a Class E rated helmet.

Eye Shields and Protection

Bartlett carries premium visors that add an extra layer of eye protection on top of wearing the standard safety glasses (it is important to note that not all visors meet the ANSI Z87.1, so safety glasses may still be required at that point). Most climbing helmet brands carry their own visor options that fit their line of helmets. For a KASK helmet, try the KASK Clear Visor or the KASK Smoke Visor if you work in sunny conditions.
