Primarily used on positioning lanyards, some climbers put it on their rope grab to hard connect it to their hip D. It helps the rope grab orient correctly. 

Stainless steel construction with a 5/16” pin. 90 degree twist. Fits all rope grabs we offer. Lockable with pliers. Wt: 2.4oz; WLL: 1,380 lbs (6kN)

The 5/16" fits well with the SMC double-tie-in pulley for a more compact version of the hitch-climber system. I put a screw through the pin-hole for better tightening and attached a tether to hold the pin captive (just short enough to keep the pin in the hole). I know that's not ANSI-compliant, but it works well for a hobbyist.
