Split Tails

Spliced split tails offer the climber a great alternative to a closed climbing system. A spliced split tail cuts down on bulky termination knots. Expertly spliced, the 4’ and 6’ split tails are 1/2” 16 strand climb lines for easy inspection and great abrasion resistance. Large eye splices are made to be girth hitched around carabiners or snaps. The 5’ split tails are spliced from 10mm 24 strand double braid prusik cord. Maximum heat resistance and high performance cord make these split tails a great value. Tight eyes facilitate carabiners only. Choosing a contrasting color of split tail makes it easy to differentiate from your climbing line.
