The point is optimized to efficiently remove material and create a precise hole for the threads. The case-hardened heat-treated carbon steel is built to drill and tap into various materials. A screwgun with 6 amps and a 0-2500 RPM range is recommended for optimal performance. The fastener must penetrate over three threads for best results.
